Do you need my Resy password?
No. Services that ask for your login act as you, and that's the behavior platforms ban. We never ask for it.
Do you book the table for me?
No, on purpose. Auto-booking is what gets accounts flagged. You get the text, tap the link, and book it yourself.
What booking platforms does TableScout support?
Resy, OpenTable and SevenRooms, all at once, so one Scout list covers most of the tables worth chasing. Tock is coming soon.
How is this different from Resy Notify?
Native alerts only cover the platform you are on, only fire for some kinds of availability, and often arrive by email after the table is gone. TableScout scouts Resy, OpenTable and SevenRooms at once and texts you.
Do I need an app or an account?
Neither. Just a phone number.
What do I get for free?
Two Scouts at a time, instant texts on both (up to 50 a month), and 10 booking taps a month. A booking tap is opening a table from a text or a Scout card, and tapping the same table again is free. TableScout Plus is $5.99 a month and drops the monthly limits, raises Scouts to 20, opens date ranges up to 90 days out, lets you supercharge a Scout so it checks twice as fast, and adds Wildcards: describe the night and we pick three tables to scout.
How do I stop a Scout?
Reply DONE to any alert to mute that Scout, or flip it off in your list. To end all texts, reply STOP. Nothing to cancel.
